WHATS ON AT DRUMLANRIG CASTLE?
Rik’s bike shed family ride out every Saturday at 10.30. Drumlanrig reopens for visitors in April 2019. The 90,000 acre estate with walks, trails, picturesque gardens and an outstanding adventure playground will open 1st April 2019. The Castle will open for public tours on Good Friday. The Castle has 120 rooms, 17 turrets and four towers and from your very first glance you’ll know you’re entering a special place. Special enough, in fact, that the producers of Outlander recently used the Castle for filming their second series!

BIGGAR CORN EXCHANGE, THE DUKES OF UKE – WITH UKE IN MIND
Saturday 16th February. Biggar’s best (and only) ukulele band perform songs “with uke in mind”. This follows 4 sell-out shows at the Biggar Little Festival in October. Considering how close we are to Valentine’s Day, the Dukes turn their minds to LOVE, with songs such as “Everything I Do, I Do It For Uke”! Performing songs exclusively on ukuleles, drums and bass and with some crazy graphics, this is a show for all the family.
Dawyck Botanic Garden Dawyck is truly one of the world’s finest arboreta. Seasonal displays of abundant exotic and native plants provide a breathtaking backdrop of colour throughout the year. The Garden also offers an award-winning visitor centre. Opens for season on 1st February.
